Master Stephanie Causby, Chief Instructor of Causby Karate Academy and Causby Academy-North Charlotte, hosted Region 7’s Family Training Clinic on a balmy February day at Denver United Methodist Church in NC.  185 students and their family members (starring 37 Tiny Tigers and Little Dragons) enjoyed challenging training sessions and fun and fellowship with our Region 7 TSD family!

               On Saturday, February 6, 2016, students from all over Region 7 gathered in Denver, NC for their 5th annual Training Clinic.  The event was hosted by Mrs. Stephanie and Mr. Ben Causby of Causby Karate Academy and was held at Denver United Methodist Church.

            A beautiful Indian summer greeted the competitors and guests of the WTSDA Region 7 Championship Tournament held recently in Myrtle Beach, SC.  On Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, 2015, the crowd gathered at the Crown Reef Beach Resort for a couple of days of exciting activity and competition. 


2014 Chief Instructors Meeting

2014 started out with a bang for Region 7! Masters and Instructors were stretched to their limits by the Stretching Seminar held by Master Dimarco from Region 8. Master Dimarco started the day with a seminar on nunchuks. Practicing twirls, strikes and catches was only part of the lesson. Master Dimarco went through a step-by-step method of re-stringing your nunchuks and the importance of knowing your weapon.

2013 Gup Training Day

Our second annual Gup Training Day was held in Denver, NC on February 2, 2013. The Black Belt and Gup participants were treated to a great array of seminar choices including sparring techniques, jumping kicks, judo, escrima, bong techniques, yoga, weapon disarms, kubaton and so much more. Some of our seminar instructors traveled from as far as Washington, DC and Virginia to help out with this event.
